Yeshayahu – Isaiah 54:1-10
Isa 54:1 Sing, barren, you who didn’t bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, says YHWH.
“The desolate” is 10-Israel (Ephrayim) that was divorced from Elohim, and the “married wife” is Judah/Levi, whom Elohim did not directly divorce. These two are often depicted as “sisters” in Prophecy, both married to Elohim.
Eze 23:4 The names of them were Oholah the elder, and Oholivah her sister: and they became mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Shomron [10-Israel] is Oholah, and Yerushalayim [Judah] Oholivah.
Isa 50:1 Thus says YHWH [to Israel], Where is the bill of your mother’s divorce, with which I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities were you sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.
Isaiah, continued:
Isa 54:2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations; don’t spare: lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
Isa 54:3 For you shall spread aboard on the right hand and on the left; and your seed shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Isa 54:4 Don’t be afraid; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be confounded; for you shall not be disappointed: for you shall forget the shame of your youth; and the reproach of your widowhood shall you remember no more.
The “shame” is the idolatry, paganism and athiesm of 10-Israel today.
Isaiah, continued:
Isa 54:5 For your Maker is your husband; YHWH Tzeva’ot is his name: and the Holy One of Yisra’el is your Redeemer; the Elohim of the whole earth shall he be called.
Isa 54:6 For YHWH has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off, says your Elohim.
Isa 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you.
His death enables him to do this without violating his own Torah. He divorced her, and she went to live with strange gods, but repented and returned. Even so, it would not have been enough, because Torah forbids the first husband to remarry a former wife who has been with another man. Therefore, Elohim chose to die to permanently dissolve the old bond, rather than destroy her and find another wife. His death was a real death – he was completely de-eminated for 3 days, leaving all of creation (the space-time continuum as we know it) without any vestige of himself (of course, the Ain Sof was still there outside of creation). Hasatan thought he had won because he, being a created being, does not “believe” in anything outside of creation that can reach back in and change things – like re-emanating the dead. Obviously, though, the Ain Sof did just that.
Isaiah, continued:
Isa 54:8 In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting loving kindness will I have mercy on you, says YHWH your Redeemer.
This is a double reference – both to his divorce from 10-Israel and to his death which separated him from everyone and permanently broke his marriage bonds (both to Judah and to Israel, of course. Even Judah can’t remain married to the dead. Death breaks all marriage bonds.)
Isaiah, continued:
Isa 54:9 For this is [as] the waters of Noach to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noach shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
Isa 54:10 For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall my covenant of shalom be removed, says YHWH who has mercy on you.
Amein! Even so, come Adonai Yeshua!
