Ezekiel chapter 7, 8 & 9
Eze 7:1 Moreover the word of YHWH came to me, saying,
Eze 7:2 You, son of man, thus says Adonai YHWH to Eretz-Yisra’el, An end: the end is come on the four corners of the land.
Eze 7:3 Now is the end on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways; and I will bring on you all your abominations.
Eze 7:4 My eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations shall be in the midst of you: and you shall know that I am YHWH.
Judgment starts at home, and works its way outward.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 7:5 Thus says Adonai YHWH: An evil, an only evil; behold, it comes.
Eze 7:6 An end is come, the end is come; it awakes against you; behold, it comes.
Eze 7:7 Your doom is come to you, inhabitant of the land: the time is come, the day is near, [a day of] tumult, and not [of] joyful shouting, on the mountains.
Eze 7:8 Now will I shortly pour out my wrath on you, and accomplish my anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways; and I will bring on you all your abominations.
Eze 7:9 My eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will bring on you according to your ways; and your abominations shall be in the midst of you; and you shall know that I, YHWH, do strike.
Eze 7:10 Behold, the day, behold, it comes: your doom is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded.
The “rod” probably refers to the Rod of Aharon, which established beyond doubt that his Levite line was chosen to act as priests of Israel in place of the Firstborns. But instead of teaching everyone Elohim’s Written Torah, they instead taught and implement their own Oral Law – their pride and joy.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 7:11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; none of them [shall remain], nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth: neither shall there be eminency among them.
As Yeshua pointed out, the Rabbis love having the seats of honor, and being deferred to by everyone, and being hailed on the streets – and having the sacrifices going again on the altar will only swell their pride, as they will say to themselves that the other sects of Judaism that did not expect a real 3rd Temple to be built were all wrong.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 7:12 The time is come, the day draws near: don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all the multitude of it.
Eze 7:13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they be yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude of it, none shall return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
The economy can no longer function under these conditions.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 7:14 They have blown the shofar, and have made all ready; but none goes to the battle; for my wrath is on all the multitude of it.
Eze 7:15 The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within: he who is in the field shall die with the sword: and he who is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
Eze 7:16 But those of those who escape shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity.
This probably refers to the remnant of Torah True Jews who flees (probably to Petra) at the Abomination of Desolation, when the False Messiah reveals his image on the Temple Mount.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 7:17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
Eze 7:18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be on all faces, and baldness on all their heads.
Eze 7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of YHWH: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.
Eze 7:20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations [and] their detestable things therein: therefore have I made it to them as an unclean thing.
Eze 7:21 I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.
Eze 7:22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret [place]; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.
The Kings of the East march against the False Messiah, probably because they don’t want him in charge of the world’s oil supply, not to mention that whole “I’m god” thing and his image he sets up at the Temple will creep them out. His world government starts to crack as nations start to rebel against him. Israel will be the scene of intense fighting.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 7:23 Make the chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
Eze 7:24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pride of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be profaned.
Eze 7:25 Destruction comes; and they shall seek shalom, and there shall be none.
Eze 7:26 Mischief shall come on mischief, and rumor shall be on rumor; and they shall seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the Kohen, and counsel from the elders.
Eze 7:27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do to them after their way, and according to their own judgments will I judge them; and they shall know that I am YHWH.
It should be made clear that they are mourning because they accepted the False Messiah at first – the invited him in, so to speak. He deafeated the Russians and/or Arabs for them, and they welcomed him with open arms. Yeshua warned about this, when he said that they didn’t accept him when he came in Elohim’s name, but they would accept another who would come in his own name. And they do – thinking he will give Israel over to them and the true golden age of Judaism will start. But they will be so, so wrong – he will do no such thing. He will take the Temple and the Altar away from them, and set aside Elohim’s commandments to implement his OWN laws (as Daniel says, he changes the seasons and appointed times, and divides up the land to his cronies as fiefdoms, and outlaws Torah True Judaism and also Belief in Yeshua). Right when they thought ultra-orthodoxy was going to triumph, it is devoured by the evil of the False Messiah.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:1 It happened in the sixth year, in the sixth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I sat in my house, and the elders of Yehudah sat before me, that the hand of Adonai YHWH fell there on me.
The date would be Elul the 5th, the fifth day of the season of repentance.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:2 Then I saw, and behold, a likeness as the appearance of fire; from the appearance of his waist and downward, fire; and from his waist and upward, as the appearance of brightness, as it were glowing metal.
Eze 8:3 He put forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my head; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and the sky, and brought me in the visions of Elohim to Yerushalayim, to the door of the gate of the inner [court] that looks toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy.
This is a vision of capital of the False Messiah, the “seat of the maker of the Abomination of Desolation, the image that will be set up by the False Messiah of himself. It is North of Israel – some claim it will be Rome. His previous seat may have been in New York, which might be the first “City of Babylon” in the Tribulation that is slated for destruction.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:4 Behold, the glory of the Elohim of Yisra’el was there, according to the appearance that I saw in the plain.
Eze 8:5 Then said he to me, Son of man, lift up your eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up my eyes the way toward the north, and see, northward of the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
For us in our day, this refers to the image of the False Messiah itself, on the Temple Mount. There was a preliminary fulfillment in Ezekiel’s day, too.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:6 He said to me, Son of man, see you what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Yisra’el do commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but you shall again see yet other great abominations.
Eze 8:7 He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall.
Eze 8:8 Then said he to me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had dug in the wall, behold, a door.
Eze 8:9 He said to me, Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here.
Eze 8:10 So I went in and saw; and see, every form of creeping things, and abominable animals, and all the idols of the house of Yisra’el, portrayed on the wall round about.
“Dig” is interesting here – it may refer to the diggings the Muslims are doing underneath the Temple Mount, to destroy the evidence that the original two temples were ever there. That digging is only possible because the State of Israel allows it to go on – they don’t believe in the Elohim of Israel or His ability to protect them from Muslims if they would just decide to protect the Temple Mount from being plundered by the Muslims.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:11 There stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Yisra’el; and in the midst of them stood Ya`azanyah the son of Shafan, every man with his censer in his hand; and the odor of the cloud of incense went up.
The 70 represents the Sanhedrin of the last days, who are complicit in allowing the Muslims to desecrate the Temple Mount because of their false belief that only the Messiah can rebuild the 3rd Temple. Then when the False Messiah does arrange for it to be built, they then accept him as Messiah based on their own false belief that only the Messiah can rebuild the Temple! It’s circular logic, to say the least.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:12 Then said he to me, Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Yisra’el do in the dark, every man in his chambers of imagery? for they say, YHWH doesn’t see us; YHWH has forsaken the land.
As is noted in other prophetic readings, the leaders of the State of Israel have no faith in Elohim – they trust only their treaties and aliances to give them security.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:13 He said also to me, You shall again see yet other great abominations which they do.
Eze 8:14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of YHWH’s house which was toward the north; and see, there sat the women weeping for Tammuz.
Eze 8:15 Then said he to me, Have you seen [this], son of man? you shall again see yet greater abominations than these.
Tammuz is the dead son in the pagan trinity mystery cults, who comes back to life. This may indicate that during the last days, the False Messiah, as part of his “changes,” will insist that other faiths be “represented” on the Temple Mount. The Muslims already have a Mosque underneath – this could indicate some sort of Christian presence exists on the Temple Mount, along with the Mosque underneath and the Temple itself on the site. They will observe the false “Lent” season and their Easter (Ishtar) ceremonies, right there by Elohim’s own Temple. That could be why Ezekiel later laments that the outer courtyard is “trampled by gentiles” until the end comes.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:16 He brought me into the inner court of YHWH’s house; and see, at the door of the temple of YHWH, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men, with their backs toward the temple of YHWH, and their faces toward the east; and they were worshipping the sun toward the east.
Practitioners of some Eastern religion, perhaps? Certainly some sort of paganism – the False Messiah will insist that he is “god” and that he is the leader of all world religions, which are all really “just the same,” as the multiculturalists already teach. His False Prophet syncretizes all religions and enforces his teachings across the earth (the “new world order”) – anyone who insists on the Bible alone will be persecuted and eventually executed.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 8:17 Then he said to me, Have you seen [this], son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Yehudah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger: and behold, they put the branch to their nose.
Eze 8:18 Therefore will I also deal in wrath; my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
The violence is, of course, against Rabbinic Jews and Torah True Jews and Obedient Believers Yeshua HaMashiach and even Christians who refuse to syncretize the Bible with anything or anyone.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 9:1 Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause you them that have charge over the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
Eze 9:2 Behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lies toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man in the midst of them clothed in linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.
Eze 9:3 The glory of the Elohim of Yisra’el was gone up from the Keruv, whereupon it was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn by his side.
Eze 9:4 YHWH said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Yerushalayim, and set a mark on the foreheads of the people that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst of it.
This is a special protection ONLY for those who are Torah True in the city of Jerusalem – the mark enables them to escape somehow. They are protected on their journey to the safe place (probably Petra).
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 9:5 To the others he said in my hearing, Go you through the city after him, and strike: don’t let your eye spare, neither have you pity;
Eze 9:6 kill utterly the old man, the young man and the virgin, and little children and women; but don’t come near any person on whom is the mark: and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the old men that were before the house.
Eze 9:7 He said to them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go you forth. They went forth, and struck in the city.
Eze 9:8 It happened, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell on my face, and cried, and said, Ah! Adonai YHWH! will you destroy all the residue of Yisra’el in your pouring out of your wrath on Yerushalayim?
Eze 9:9 Then said he to me, The iniquity of the house of Yisra’el and Yehudah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of wrestling [of judgment]: for they say, YHWH has forsaken the land, and YHWH doesn’t see.
Eze 9:10 As for me also, my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way on their head.
Eze 9:11 Behold, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you have commanded me.
During the last half of the Tribulation, Jerusalem will be devoid of those who are Torah True – they must escape, as Yeshua warns us, and flee without even going back to their homes to get supplies, even if they are already at home on the rooftop trying to watch the events of the unveiling of the Abomination on the Temple Mount. They go to the place of safety, and Yeshua will meet with them there to plead with them face-to-face to swear alegiance to him as the King of Kings. Those that do are counted as “sheep” and enter the kingdom. Those who refuse are “goats” that are destroyed. Only “sheep” enter the Kingdom, and only “sheep” in Jerusalem are protected and able to flee to the place of safety prepared for them when the Abomination occurs. There is no safety and no protection for anyone else on earth during the Tribulation. In fact, both Daniel and Revelation state cleary that the Beast prevails against everyone else during the Great Tribulation. Martyrdom will be the most common fate for people who refuse to give up their Bible and follow the syncretized pagan world religion.
