Ezekiel chapter 12 & 13
Eze 12:1 The word of YHWH also came to me, saying,
Eze 12:2 Son of man, you dwell in the midst of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and don’t see, who have ears to hear, and don’t hear; for they are a rebellious house.
Eze 12:3 Therefore, you son of man, prepare you stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and you shall remove from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.
Another “living art” exhibit.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 12:4 You shall bring forth your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing; and you shall go forth yourself at even in their sight, as when men go forth into exile.
Eze 12:5 Dig you through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.
Eze 12:6 In their sight shall you bear it on your shoulder, and carry it forth in the dark; you shall cover your face, that you don’t see the land: for I have set you for a sign to the house of Yisra’el.
Eze 12:7 I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for removing, and in the even I dug through the wall with my hand; I brought it forth in the dark, and bore it on my shoulder in their sight.
Eze 12:8 In the morning came the word of YHWH to me, saying,
Eze 12:9 Son of man, has not the house of Yisra’el, the rebellious house, said to you, What do you?
Eze 12:10 Say you to them, Thus says Adonai YHWH: This burden [concerns] the prince in Yerushalayim, and all the house of Yisra’el among whom they are.
Eze 12:11 Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done to them; they shall go into exile, into captivity.
This refers to the leaders of the State of Israel – they will be deported from the land, for they are not Obedient Believers. They may qualify as righteous gentiles – maybe – but they will not be permitted to stay in Eretz Israel during the Kingdom.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 12:12 The prince who is among them shall bear on his shoulder in the dark, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, because he shall not see the land with his eyes.
Eze 12:13 My net also will I spread on him, and he shall be taken in my snare; and I will bring him to Bavel to the land of the Kasdim; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.
Eze 12:14 I will scatter toward every wind all who are round about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.
They will all be deported – to live in the nations. Their actions and lack of obedience and lack of faith have disqualified them from remaining in Eretz Israel.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 12:15 They shall know that I am YHWH, when I shall disperse them among the nations, and scatter them through the countries.
Eze 12:16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they come; and they shall know that I am YHWH.
An example to the goyim.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 12:17 Moreover the word of YHWH came to me, saying,
Eze 12:18 Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with fearfulness;
Eze 12:19 and tell the people of the land, Thus says Adonai YHWH concerning the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, and Eretz-Yisra’el: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, [and despoiled] of all that is therein, because of the violence of all those who dwell therein.
Eze 12:20 The cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be a desolation; and you shall know that I am YHWH.
Israel will be the scene of intense fighting at the end – little will be left standing intact.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 12:21 The word of YHWH came to me, saying,
Eze 12:22 Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in Eretz-Yisra’el, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision fails?
Eze 12:23 Tell them therefore, Thus says Adonai YHWH: I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Yisra’el; but tell them, The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision.
Eze 12:24 For there shall be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Yisra’el.
Eze 12:25 For I am YHWH; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed; it shall be no more deferred: for in your days, rebellious house, will I speak the word, and will perform it, says Adonai YHWH.
Eze 12:26 Again the word of YHWH came to me, saying,
Eze 12:27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Yisra’el say, The vision that he sees is for many day to come, and he prophesies of times that are far off.
Eze 12:28 Therefore tell them, Thus says Adonai YHWH: There shall none of my words be deferred any more, but the word which I shall speak shall be performed, says Adonai YHWH.
The Rabbinate believes and teaches that it is the year 5768, over 200 years before they expect the 6000 years to be over and the final salvation to occur. They are completely wrong, of course. Others believe that the prophecies of the Tanakh cannot come true anymore because the people of Israel have been replaced by the “church.” They are also completely wrong. And, of course, there are plenty of false prophets who are telling Believers that they will have “peace and safety” no matter where they are and no matter whether they obey Torah or not. Again, they are completely wrong. Those who take obedience and prophecy literally and seriously are very, very few.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 13:1 The word of YHWH came to me, saying,
Eze 13:2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Yisra’el who prophesy, and say you to those who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear you the word of YHWH:
Eze 13:3 Thus says Adonai YHWH, Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
Certainly, anyone who claims to be a “prophet of the Lord” who is not 100% Observant of the Written Torah is a False Prophet, as Yeshua Himself, as YHWH Incarnate, tells us:
Deu 13:1 If there arise in the midst of you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he give you a sign or a wonder, Deu 13:2 and the sign or the wonder come to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them; Deu 13:3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams: for YHWH your Elohim proves you, to know whether you love YHWH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul. Deu 13:4 You shall walk after YHWH your Elohim, and fear him, and keep his mitzvot, and obey his voice, and you shall serve him, and cleave to him. Deu 13:5 That prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he has spoken rebellion against YHWH your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to draw you aside out of the way which YHWH your Elohim commanded you to walk in. So shall you put away the evil from the midst of you.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 13:4 Yisra’el, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
Eze 13:5 You have not gone up into the gaps, neither built up the wall for the house of Yisra’el, to stand in the battle in the day of YHWH.
Eze 13:6 They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, “YHWH says” – but YHWH has not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
Eze 13:7 Haven’t you seen a false vision, and haven’t you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, “YHWH says” - but I have not spoken?
Eze 13:8 Therefore thus says Adonai YHWH: Because you have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says Adonai YHWH.
Eze 13:9 My hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the House of Yisra’el, neither shall they enter into Eretz-Yisra’el; and you shall know that I am Adonai YHWH.
Such Torahless people are excluded from both the House of Israel and from receiving any inheritance as obedient believing gentiles in Eretz Israel.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 13:10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, “Shalom” – but there is no shalom; and when one builds up a wall, behold, they daub it with whitewash:
Eze 13:11 tell those who daub it with whitewash, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it.
Eze 13:12 Behold, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed it?
This is similar to Yeshua’s words that a House not built on the foundation of Torah will be washed away when the storms come, because it is built on shifting sands, not the firm foundation of Elohim’s Word.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 13:13 Therefore thus says Adonai YHWH: I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
Eze 13:14 So will I break down the wall that you have daubed with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation of it shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it: and you shall know that I am YHWH.
Eze 13:15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have daubed it with whitewash; and I will tell you, The wall is no more, neither those who daubed it;
Eze 13:16 [to wit], the prophets of Yisra’el who prophesy concerning Yerushalayim, and who see visions of shalom for her, and there is no shalom, says Adonai YHWH.
Eze 13:17 You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy you against them,
Eze 13:18 and say, Thus says Adonai YHWH: Woe to the women who make coverings on all hands, and make veils for the head of every height to conceal souls, the [innocent] souls? Will you conceal from my people and the [innocent] living souls [that were] alive?
Eze 13:19 You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.
The word “souls” here is “nephesh,” more properly translated as “breathing beings” or just “beings.” The “daughters” here portrayed as women prophets are in fact feminists who have made civil laws that excuse abortion and allow medical personnel who perform abortions to live. This passage could not be referring to injustices in court where some who are not guilty are wrongly convicted and vice versa, because there are far more male jugdes than female ones. This passage is addressed strictly to women. It is similar to the passage in Jeremiah, which can be translated as follows:
Jer 2:33 How you shorten your way to seek love [sex]! therefore even the wicked women have you taught your ways. Jer 2:34 Also in your skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: you did not find them [the poor innocent babies]breaking in [to your womb like robbers]; but it is because of all these things [you did that they were conceived there]. Jer 2:35 Yet you said [when you killed them], I am innocent; surely His anger is turned away from me. Behold, I will enter into judgment with you, because you say, I have not sinned. Jer 2:36 Why go you about so much to change your way? you shall be ashamed of Egypt also, as you were ashamed of Ashur. Jer 2:37 From there also shall you go forth, with your hands on your head: for YHWH has rejected those in whom you trust, and you shall not prosper with them.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 13:20 Therefore thus says Adonai YHWH: Behold, I am against your coveringss, with which you there conceal the souls to make [them] fly [away], and I will tear them from your hands; and I will let the souls go, even the souls who you conceal to make [them] fly [away].
Eze 13:21 Your veils also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be concealed; and you shall know that I am YHWH.
Eze 13:22 Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive [at judgment time]:
Eze 13:23 Therefore you shall no more see false visions, nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand; and you shall know that I am YHWH.
The false visions are those of the “new world order,” which claims there are too many people and that the population must be reduced. The divination tells young women that they have done nothing wrong and will not be punished if they have an abortion, that in fact they are doing the world and their child a favor by not becoming a parent when they’re “not ready.” This is the most heinous of lies, that killing a baby for your own convenience is not only not wrong, but is a good thing – according to them. They call white black and black white – and Elohim is not amused.
