Ezekiel chapter 5 & 6
Eze 5:1 You, son of man, take a sharp sword; [as] a barber’s razor shall you take it to you, and shall cause it to pass on your head and on your beard: then take balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
Another “living art” exhibition.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 5:2 A third part shall you burn in the fire in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled; and you shall take a third part, and strike with the sword round about it; and a third part you shall scatter to the wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.
Eze 5:3 You shall take of it a few in number, and bind them in your skirts.
Eze 5:4 Of these again shall you take, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; from it shall a fire come forth into all the house of Yisra’el.
This is the fate of the people in Jerusalem, not just then but in our future. The ones that burn and are killed with the sword die in the battle that takes place in Jerusalem during the last days/hours of the Tribulation. Then, the Muslims and unobservant Christians and athiests will be deported from Israel – those are to be scattered to the wind. The few remaining are the remnant of Obedient Believers.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 5:5 Thus says Adonai YHWH: This is Yerushalayim; I have set her in the midst of the nations, and countries are round about her.
Eze 5:6 She has rebelled against my ordinances in doing wickedness more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries that are round about her; for they have rejected my ordinances, and as for my statutes, they have not walked in them.
The Rabbinate has replaced Elohim’s Written Torah with their own Oral Law. The Christians have replaced Elohim’s Written Torah with their own deceitful hearts and pagan practices. Neither camp is acceptable to Elohim.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 5:7 Therefore thus says Adonai YHWH: Because you are turbulent more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my ordinances, neither have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you;
Eze 5:8 therefore thus says Adonai YHWH: Behold, I, even I, am against you; and I will execute judgments in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.
This is true not just for them but for us in our future, too.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 5:9 I will do in you that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all your abominations.
Eze 5:10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of you, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments on you; and the whole remnant of you will I scatter to all the winds.
This specific prophecy may be just for Ezekiel’s time. It is thought that the future battle of Jerusalem in the future will last only a fraction of the time of this seige in our past.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 5:11 Therefore, as I live, says Adonai YHWH, surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore will I also diminish [you]; neither shall my eye spare, and I also will have no pity.
Prior to the Abomination of Desolation set up by the False Messiah, the Rabbinate will be in control of the Temple Mount. They will exclude Obedient Believers from participating or offering sacrifices on the altar. They will not doubt also put in place many of the items described in their “Oral Law” which are not Elohim’s instructions to us, but rather their own imaginations at work. This will not make Elohim a happy camper.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 5:12 A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you; and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and a third part I will scatter to all the winds, and will draw out a sword after them.
This is a confirmation to the Rabbinate that the same judgements that apply to the general citizenry of Jerusalem will also specifically apply to them – they are not exempt, for indeed they are guilty of the same sins. Again it should be noted that we, in this day and age of “just in time shipping” we don’t need months of seige to reach starvation. It has been suggested that most grocery stores will run out of food in only 2 or 3 days when deliveries stop – and by the end of one week most urban people in this day and age would be completely without food. Those with civil defense shelters might – maybe – be able to hold out an additional week if they have food stored, but that’s it. Within 2 weeks there won’t be a bite to eat in Jerusalem. A monthlong seige starting at the first of Elul (the season of repentance) would begin killing children and the elderly in only 7 days – much less the rest of the 40 days until the King of King arrives. If the seige started on Tammuz 17th or Av the 9th so much the worse. For our non-agricultural culture, starvation will come quickly. The other third will be killed by rocket fire and other weapons.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 5:13 Thus shall my anger be accomplished, and I will cause my wrath toward them to rest, and I shall be comforted; and they shall know that I, YHWH, have spoken in my zeal, when I have accomplished my wrath on them.
Eze 5:14 Moreover I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are round about you, in the sight of all that pass by.
Eze 5:15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment, to the nations that are round about you, when I shall execute judgments on you in anger and in wrath, and in wrathful rebukes; (I, YHWH, have spoken it;)
Eze 5:16 when I shall send on them the evil arrows of famine, that are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine on you, and will break your staff of bread;
Eze 5:17 and I will send on you famine and evil animals, and they shall bereave you; and pestilence and blood shall pass through you; and I will bring the sword on you: I, YHWH, have spoken it.
The Rabbinate will believe that because they have the altar and sacrifices going again, that this can never happen to them – but in truth their refusal to allow Messianic Believers to particpate and their substitution of items from the Oral Law for the commandments of Elohim’s Written Torah will be the cause of the future battle of Jerusalem. The Christians will believe that it is happening precisely because the sacrifices are being offered again, whomever is or is not offering them – and the Muslims will believe that everyone who is not Muslim is the cause of WWIII. All of them are wrong, and all of them will be judged.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 6:1 The word of YHWH came to me, saying,
Eze 6:2 Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Yisra’el, and prophesy to them,
Eze 6:3 and say, You mountains of Yisra’el, hear the word of Adonai YHWH: Thus says Adonai YHWH to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places.
“High places” these days have Rabbinic synagogues, Islamic mosques and Christian churches on them. They are all involved in violating Elohim’s Written Torah.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 6:4 Your altars shall become desolate, and your incense altars shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
Eze 6:5 I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Yisra’el before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
Eze 6:6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your incense altars may be hewn down, and your works may be abolished.
Eze 6:7 The slain shall fall in the midst of you, and you shall know that I am the LORD.
While Muslims don’t employ “idols” per se, most Churches have iconography and statuary in them. So this may be aimed more specifically at Christian Churches than anything else.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, in that you shall have some that escape the sword among the nations, when you shall be scattered through the countries.
Righteous gentiles have a place in the Messianic Kingdom – just not in Israel. Only the Obedient Believers will live in Eretz Israel during the Kingdom. Everyone else will be deported and receive an inheritance elsewhere.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 6:9 Those of you that escape shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captive, how that I have been broken with their lewd heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which play the prostitute after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
Eze 6:10 They shall know that I am YHWH: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil to them.
Yes, in that day the Word will go forth from Tzion – the new Torah Cycle will begin and everyone will learn Elohim’s Written Torah. Then, they will be ashamed of the false beliefs they had previously, and be ashamed of the pagan practices they were doing.
Ezekiel, continued:
Eze 6:11 Thus says Adonai YHWH: Smite with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas! because of all the evil abominations of the house of Yisra’el; for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
Eze 6:12 He who is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he who is near shall fall by the sword; and he who remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my wrath on them.
Eze 6:13 You shall know that I am YHWH, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the places where they offered sweet savor to all their idols.
Eze 6:14 I will stretch out my hand on them, and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness toward Diblah, throughout all their habitations: and they shall know that I am YHWH.
The “goats” who are unrighteous gentiles or disobedient believers or disobedient Israelites do not enter the kingdom at all. Most of them will die in WWIII. The rest are purged from the planet and killed, as Yeshua tells us plainly in Matthew chapter 25. The “sheep” are the righteous gentiles who survive WWIII, those who become obedient believers during the Tribulation and survive, and those Torah True Jews who survive at the special place prepared for them in the wilderness (probably Petra) and then accept Yeshua as Messiah when He meets with them face-t0-face to plead with them after the battle of Armageddon. These are the “sheep,” the mortal humans who enter the Kingdom as subjects.
The rulers, that is, the Kings and Priests of the Kingdom, are those Obedient Believers who were transformed into immortality at the Parousia prior to the Tribulation, and the Tribulation Martyrs who receive their Resurrection at the Second Advent. The rulers of the Kingdom are all immortal, the subjects are all regular mortal human beings. The mortal Obedient Believers who survive WWIII get their inheritance in Eretz Israel and repopulate it – the mortal righteous gentiles repopulate the nations. Over 1000 years after the Kingdom is established, hasatan will be released from the pit to entice the descendants of the mortal pioneers who entered the kingdom. Many of these mortal offspring will rebel against the King of Kings with hasatan, and come to a bad end. Then, the new heavens and the new earth will be established, where everyone is immortal and evil cannot exist. Amen!
